The Ashridge Forest Circular Walk in the Chilterns is an easy-going route that takes you through a shaded, misty forest towards the Woodland Walk, which has faded footprints harking back to prehistoric times. Expect openings that unveil magical views of the countryside sprawling across the horizon!

Route Description for Ashridge Forest Circular Walk

The Ashridge Forest Circular Walk in the Chilterns is an easy-going, family-friendly walk that snakes through sweeping forested areas while providing excellent views of the rolling countryside stretching into the horizon. This route is a fantastic way for all skill levels to get outside and enjoy some mild exercise, immersed in dazzling scenery. The wildflowers add to the wonder of this walk!

Do note that the car park can get crowded, so be sure to get there early to grab a spot or seek parking nearby! Once you find your spot and reach the trailhead, it’s suggested to take on this loop in a counterclockwise direction.
