Route Description for The Lost Canyon Peekaboo Trail
The Peekaboo Canyon Trail is an adventurous route for experienced hikers. This trail has steep sections where hikers will have to ascend and descend fixed ladders. If you have a fear of heights, this probably isn’t the best trail for you. The views, however, along the Peekaboo Canyon Trail are richly rewarding, and if you want to take your time along this trail, you can camp at the Lost Canyon Campsite or the Peekaboo Campsite midway.
From the trailhead, follow the path southeast to a divide and stay left. Continue along the trail to the Lost Canyon Campsite 1, stay left once again at this landmark. The trail ends at Peekaboo Camp in the Salt Creek Canyon.
Set up your tent and enjoy a night in the Utah desert at Peekaboo Camp or turn around and follow the same route back out to the trailhead.
