Route Description for Cave Spring Trail

The Cave Spring hike is an incredible window into the human history of Canyonlands. This hike is short but moderately challenging. Hikers will have to climb two ladders along the trail so come prepared with proper hiking shoes and an adventurous spirit. The Cave Spring trail passes by a series of caves, petroglyphs and pictographs from thousands of years ago, and a preserved cowboy camp with artifacts from the 1800s. As with any piece of history in this area, please do not touch or deface any of the incredible artifacts along this trail.
