Whether you are simply looking to get out into the mountains for some fresh air or have your sights set on bagging a few munros, the Glen Doll and Tolmount Circular walk is a spectacular adventure that will be sure to meet all of your needs.
Setting out from the car park, you will head to the northwest along Jock’s Road and pass through the beautiful woodlands of Glen Doll Forest. After passing through the tree cover, you will continue following along the winding banks of White Water as they lead through the picturesque valley to the northwest.
Arriving at a fork, you will keep left and begin climbing uphill to the summit of Tom Buidhe, which is the first Munro along this route and offers beautifully scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on along the trail, you will follow it north to briefly descend the hillside, before quickly climbing up to the second Munro known as Tolmount. Keeping right along the path, you will traverse the rugged terrain of Crow Craigies and follow the trail to the southeast, where you will descend into the valley on the return leg back towards the trailhead.
