Route Description for The Bryce Transverse Trail
The Bryce Transverse Trail is a gorgeous route for moderately experienced hikers in Bryce Canyon National Park. This trail follows a point-to-point route, so hikers should plan for a shuttle ahead of time. If you do not have access to two cars, you can return to the trailhead by catching a ride on the Bryce Canyon Park Shuttle, a free service provided by the NPS. The Bryce Transverse is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon exploring the otherworldly terrain of Bryce Canyon National Park!
From the Trailhead, hike south to Sunrise Point and take a left onto the Queen’s Garden Trail. Continue South along the Queen’s Garden Trail to the divide at The Navajo Benchmark. At this divide, take the path on your left to continue south along the Peekaboo Loop. Stay right at the subsequent divides to make your way down to the trail’s end on Bryce Point Road.
At the end of the trail, catch your ride back to the trailhead or jump on the Canyon Shuttle at the Bryce Point #3 Shuttle Stop nearby.
