Queen Victoria via the Queen’s Garden Trail is a gorgeous hike that highlights the unique geology of Bryce Canyon National Park. This route passes by the ET Hoodoo and the Queen Victoria Formation, an impressive rock spire that resembles the Queen. Along the way, you will pass by dozens of hoodoos and other remarkable features. This trail may be short, but it truly has so much to offer!

Route Description for Queen Victoria via Queen’s Garden

The Queen Victoria via Queen’s Garden trail is a gorgeous, out-and-back route in Bryce Canyon National Park. This trail is short but does have some steep sections, so be sure to wear proper hiking footwear and bring along a snack/water bottle. You will also want to pack the camera, as the views along this trail are absolutely stunning!

To hike the Queen Victoria via Queen’s Garden Trail, begin at the Sunrise Point Trailhead on Sunrise Point Road. Follow the path south to Sunrise Point then take the trail on your left. Keep an eye out for the ET Hoodoo on your left as you make your way south to the Queen Victoria Formation.
Take a rest at the base of the Queen before turning around and retracing your steps back to the trailhead.

If you are keen to keep exploring, this route can be extended along The Wall Street and Queen’s Garden Loop or the Queen’s Garden to Navajo Loop Trail.

Getting to the Queen Victoria via Queen’s Garden Trailhead

From the Bryce Canyon Visitors Center, head south down Bryce Canyon Scenic Drive for 0.5mi before taking your first left onto Lodge Loop Road. Follow Lodge Loop Road for 0.5mi before taking another left onto Sunrise Point Road. Park at the Sunrise Point Parking area on the right side of the road. The Queen Victoria via Queen’s Garden Trail begins here.
