Route Description for Blaen-y-Glyn Waterfalls Circular Walk
If you are looking for a breathtaking forest adventure in Wales that will produce stunning views of several woodland waterfalls, then the Blaen-y-Glyn Waterfalls Circular Walk is a great option for you to check out. Be sure to bring an extra change of clothes and waterproof boots, as you are almost guaranteed to be wet and muddy after this walk!
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northwest along the banks of Caerfanell, taking some time to appreciate the beauty of the forest as you climb uphill towards the first of three waterfalls. After taking in the views of the cascading waters, you will continue along the trail to experience the other waterfalls in quick succession.
You will also pass by these on the return leg of the walk, so don’t worry about depending too much time here if you are hoping to complete the entire loop. Once you have reached the northernmost point of the route, the trail will loop around the hillside to the southwest, passing through a more dense stretch of wood, before descending into the valley once more. Here, you will pass by each of the waterfalls once again before arriving back at the car park where you began.
