Route Description for Gregory Canyon and E.M Greenman Loop Trail
Push your limits and fulfill a sense of personal achievement along the Gregory Canyon and E.M Greenman Loop Trail. Immerse yourself in the wilderness and reconnect with nature as you wander through the dense woodlands and rocky outcroppings of the Boulder Open Space. Though dogs are permitted along this route, we suggest leaving them at home as there are steep sections of terrain that require scrambling up a ladder. Additionally, this path presents a whole new set of challenges in the winter months, but if you are set on hiking after snowfall be sure to wear microspikes or snowshoes.
Embark on your adventure along the Gregory Canyon and E.M Greenman Loop Trail from the Gregory Canyon Trailhead. From here, keep left and hike along an unnamed path before merging onto the Amphitheatre Trail. Hike this path southwest, turning right onto the Saddle Rock Trail at the next intersection. Wander briefly along this path before hooking onto the E.M Greenman Trail.
This segment of the hike will guide you northwest before connecting you with the Ranger Trail. Trek this route to a trailhead, where hikers will turn right onto the Gregory Canyon Trail. This path will lead you down a forested gulch, eventually delivering you back to the trailhead
