The Ruined Castle and Mount Solitary via The Golden Stairs Walk is a remarkably challenging adventure that will elevate your heart rate while carrying you to phenomenal viewpoints. However, do note that you will have to scramble some sections!
Setting out from Narrow Neck, you’ll go down the stairs by the miners' camp, heading to the Ruined Castle path. Prepare for a little scramble as you make your way to the Ruined Castle. Then, reach Mount Solitary track, where challenging scrambling awaits.
Eventually, you’ll make it to the summit, which affords fantastic views of Jamison Valley. Enjoy the scenery before turning around and heading back the way you came.
