Begin your adventure along the River Run Trail from the trailhead off Castle Creek Road. From here, the River Run Trail will pass through the Ashcroft Ghost Town. Take your time to read the interpretive signs and explore the ruins of the mining town. When you are set to continue, track the River Run Trail south along the curves of Castle Creek. Let the soothing sounds of the water and the wind whistling through the trees relax you.
You will meet the trail’s end at the southernmost River Run Trailhead. From here, retrace your footing through the woodlands and the town back to the trailhead.
